Thursday's Assignment July 28th 2016

So what's between cottages and the city? Have a look at the following video and fill in the blanks below:

"We're on Happy Days now. So, this is Happy Days Houseboats. This boat's called Knot 1, and  this  boat's a 12-person. So we're going to go inside and  take a look at this one. So this is the insides of the 12-person. So it's got a nice seating area there with dinette, TV on the wall ... here's the helm station ... there's a nice comfy couch there."

So, who's going to organize our August/September field trip on a nice Canadian houseboat?

Anyway, moving on, let's start thinking about this coming weekend first.

Here are your tasks:

Take dictation of this movie from 0:33 to 0:49. The following wordlist might be useful:
1,1997,
2,directors,
3,the Griswalds,
4,inexplicably,
5,previous.

The Griswalds are back. Like you said, you know the first movie, you know. There’s been four of them previous. There are several home vadio of one before after go on. This is the fifth one and the first one since 1997. And inexplicably this one took two directors to make, I’m not sure why. But anyway.

         Canada.
Toronto City Council established the civic holiday in honour of Simcoe in 1869.
It's no coincidence that, in of all places, Simcoe's name still resonates in southern Ontario.
Paul: Thank you for giving me the information.
Lisa:Your welcome.

7, Read your classmates’ stories and identify their words from Simcoe’s story under Comments.
